The Historic Wells Building |
The Tippecanoe Arts Federation is housed within the beautiful Historic Wells Building. The Wells Building is of Neo Classical American Greek Revival Architecture style This 80-year-old gem of Historic Downtown Lafayette’s Arts and Shopping District offers many unique opportunities for your business or personal meeting or event. Conveniently located to the entire downtown and accessable from all directions of the community the facility also has its own parking lot, a rare commodity of the downtown.
Businesses may rent meeting rooms located on the first floor or even the Gallery and Performance Areas on the main floor. With 3 meeting rooms and 2 performances areas, your event will be held in style.
The Grand Wells Reception Hall offers a unique performance area which is ideal for your recital or wedding party’s head table. Elevated stage may be added for larger performance gatherings. A mezzanine balcony is a great space for a few musicians during your event.

Individual “Members/Friends of TAF” may also rent space at TAF for private events, meetings, or gatherings when a pleasant artistic environment is desired.

Fiddler's East Meeting Room |
The Indiana Fiddler’s Room has been equipped with acoustic modifications, lighting, and a small presentation stage. The stage is perfect for more intimate performances or elevated seating for panel discussion/presentations. The room seats up to 20 with tables and 45 without tables.

West Meeting Room |
Adorning an original historic fireplace, the West Meeting Room conveys a relaxed, warm atmosphere. (Seats up to 25 with tables, 45 without).

North Meeting Room |
The largest 1st floor area, the North Meeting Room, is ideal for larger functions (seats up to 35 with tables and 50 without).
As stewards of the Wells Building, Tippecanoe Arts Federation has conducted a formal Wells Use Rehabilitation & Restoration study and has completed a formal report in 2007.
